Terms
Last updated 29 July 2026
Plain terms for a small engagement. A signed proposal for your specific build takes precedence over anything here.
Payment
- $1,000 reserves a build slot — or the full amount on Website, which is less than that.
- You review the finished site on a doctorbuilds.com subdomain. The balance is due only once you have approved it, and the site moves to your own domain after that.
- Card payment. The deposit is what holds your week in the calendar and is non-refundable once the build week has been worked.
- The $500 setup fee is charged with the deposit and covers domain, hosting and integrations.
What you own
On final payment you own the site, the code, the content and the domain. It runs on your hosting account. There is no licence fee, no subscription and no retainer, so there is nothing to stop paying — once it is built and paid for, it is simply yours.
Revisions and timeline
- Two consolidated revision rounds are included.
- The quoted timeline — five to fifteen working days depending on the package — starts when content and access are complete, not when the advance clears.
- A change of design direction after approval is new work and is quoted separately.
Medical content
You approve every clinical claim on the site in writing before launch. I write it; you are responsible for its accuracy and for its compliance with your state board and your licence. I will not publish a claim you have not approved.
If it does not work out
If after the first revision round you genuinely do not want the site, we stop. You keep the design files and the 50% deposit is not refunded, since the build week was reserved and worked. I would rather part that way than argue you into a site you dislike.
What is not promised
I do not guarantee rankings, traffic or bookings. Anyone who does is either guessing or lying. What is guaranteed is the build standard: the performance, accessibility and structured-data targets stated on this site, verified before launch and evidenced in the audit PDF you receive.
