doctorbuilds

What it costs.

Five packages. Two for single-doctor practices, two for med spas and aesthetic clinics, and one for rebuilding a site you already have. All one-time, none with a monthly retainer.

The builds

Two packages for each kind of practice, all one-time, none with a monthly retainer. Every demo is live and real — open them on your phone, because that is where your patients will.

Local SEO is commonly retained at $500 a month. That is $6,000 across a year, every year, and it stops the month you stop paying. All inclusive is that same foundational work, done once, and you keep it.

For med spas and aesthetic clinics

A full treatment menu, prices worth publishing, and possibly clinics in more than one state. Two packages, same build standard — the difference is whether you also want to be found, to sell, and to answer after hours.

You approve it before you pay for it.

You have probably paid an agency up front and waited. That is not how this runs.

  1. To start

    The advance

$500 on Website, $1,000 on the larger builds. It reserves your build week in the calendar. Card payment.

  2. While it is built

    Nothing

You get a Loom walkthrough at the end of each build day, so you watch it come together rather than waiting to find out on Friday.

  3. When it is finished

    Nothing

The finished site goes up on a doctorbuilds.com subdomain. You open it on your own phone, click everything, and send changes. Two revision rounds are included.

  4. Once you approve it

    The balance

Only after you have seen the finished site and said yes. Nothing is due before that.

  5. Then

    It goes live

Connected to your own domain, Search Console verified, and yours. You never pay for something you have not already used.

What you get

Everything below is in every build unless it is marked otherwise. The search work is what separates Website from Website plus.

Bookings

  • Treatment menu with transparent pricing

Every price visible without clicking or calling.

  • Booking that connects to your scheduler

Boulevard, Vagaro, Square, Jane, Zenoti or GlossGenius — deep-linked, never embedded in an iframe.

  • Consultation flow for high-ticket treatments

Four questions, one per screen, for the $2,000+ decisions nobody self-schedules.

  • Instant SMS the second someone enquires

Your phone buzzes within five seconds, with the treatment and the day part they asked for.

  • Online receptionist, day and night

Answers from your own content — hours, prices, parking, what a treatment involves, how long it takes — and hands off to booking. It never gives medical advice, never asks about symptoms or medications, and never keeps a conversation. Anything it cannot answer goes to you by text.

    All inclusive only

  • Payment gateway on the site

Take deposits or full payment online to hold an appointment, which cuts no-shows. Configured in your booking platform first if it already supports it.

    All inclusive only

Revenue

  • Membership page built like a real pricing page

Memberships are 20–30% of med spa revenue and the most under-designed page in the category.

  • Cherry and PatientFi financing

One line in context plus a page that works the numbers, not a logo wall.

  • Before/after galleries with consent handling

Draggable, keyboard operable, with results-vary and consent notices designed in.

  • Curated product recommendations

An editorial page that seeds the in-room conversation. No cart.

  • Full e-commerce

Sell skincare and products directly from the site, with stock, checkout and order emails handled.

    All inclusive only

Getting found

  • Technical SEO and schema on every page

MedicalBusiness, Physician, Service, FAQ and reviewer markup — the structure Google uses to treat you as a real entity.

    Website plus and up

  • Structured so AI answers cite you

A plain-text summary of your practice, treatments and prices at llms.txt, and FAQ blocks written the way people actually ask.

    Website plus and up

  • Every profile you own, linked to the site

Google Business Profile, Instagram, LinkedIn and the rest pointed back at the site with matching name, address and phone — which is how search engines work out that all of them are one practice rather than several.

    Website plus and up

  • Google Business Profile claimed and optimised

Categories, services, hours, photos and Q&A. For a local practice this outranks the website in value.

    Website plus and up

  • One page per treatment

Built for how much is Botox in your city, which is what people type.

    Website plus and up

  • Search Console and Bing verified at launch

Submitted and verified, so you can see what you rank for from day one rather than taking my word for it.

    Website plus and up

Built properly

  • Loads in under two seconds on 4G

Measured on a throttled phone, not on your laptop.

  • WCAG 2.2 AA accessible

Checked by machine on every change, which reduces your exposure to ADA demand letters.

  • No advertising trackers of ours

I do not add Meta or Google advertising pixels, and your booking and confirmation routes carry nothing third-party at all. Embedded Business Profile and social widgets do load their own scripts — if you would rather avoid that, I can render them statically at build time instead and they look identical.

  • Nothing about a patient is stored

Enquiries route to your phone and inbox and are never kept in a database of ours.

  • Spanish version

A full second language, meaningful in TX, FL, CA and AZ. Add-on.

Built to comply

Medical websites are held to standards ordinary business sites are not. Here is exactly what the build satisfies, and exactly where it stops.

HIPAA

The big one for a medical practice.

  • The booking form collects scheduling data only — name, phone, date. No medical history, ever.
  • Reason for visit, where it is captured at all, is transmitted encrypted and never stored by us.
  • A privacy notice appears before anyone submits anything.
  • The contact form carries an explicit warning not to include diagnoses, prescriptions or history.
  • Any telehealth link goes out to a platform that signs a BAA — it is never rebuilt in-house.
  • A full HIPAA answer in the FAQ, marked up for featured snippets.

Google YMYL

Medical sites get Google’s highest scrutiny. Your Money or Your Life.

  • A complete E-E-A-T trust band — experience, expertise, authoritativeness, trustworthiness.
  • Board certification displayed and linked to the certifying board’s own verification page.
  • Your real NPI in the footer and in the schema graph.
  • Credential links that resolve — ABIM, the NPI Registry, your state licence.
  • No health claim on the site that cannot be substantiated.

Google E-E-A-T

The structure Google uses to decide you are a real practice.

  • Physician schema carrying hasCredential, alumniOf, memberOf and award.
  • A MedicalBusiness and Physician entity graph, not loose tags.
  • FAQPage schema, so your answers are eligible for featured snippets.
  • A visible “Reviewed by {provider} — {date}” byline on every clinical page, backed by reviewer markup.
  • Reviews rendered as content rather than marked up as a self-reported rating — Google disallows the latter.

ADA and WCAG 2.2 AA

One level newer than the 2.1 most agencies quote.

  • A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element.
  • Real alt text on every image; decorative images marked as decorative.
  • Every form field has a visible, persistent label — placeholder-only labelling is a failure.
  • Semantic HTML throughout: main, nav, section, article, footer.
  • Full keyboard operation, including the booking flow and the before/after sliders.
  • Visible focus rings everywhere, 4.5:1 minimum on body text, colour never carrying meaning alone.
  • Checked by machine on every change, so it cannot quietly regress.

What this does not cover on its own

  • A signed BAA with your hosting provider. Standard hosting tiers do not sign one — you need a HIPAA plan or a certified host, and I will tell you which before we start.
  • Card data. Payments run through Stripe’s own hosted fields, so card numbers never touch your site or my code — but the Stripe account and its terms are yours.
  • A HIPAA-compliant booking backend. The site connects to Cal.com, Jane or your existing platform, which handle it natively. I do not rebuild one.
  • SOC 2. Not addressed and not relevant unless you build a software product on top of this.
  • Your privacy policy and notice of privacy practices. I generate them from your details; your attorney should read them before launch.

The site is structured and coded to support full compliance. Compliance itself completes when the real backends are connected and your attorney has reviewed the policies — and any agency telling you a website alone makes you HIPAA compliant is selling you something that does not exist.

Questions people ask

Five to fifteen days? What is getting skipped.

Nothing is skipped — the discovery phase is. A one-page site is five working days; a fifty-treatment build across several states is fifteen. Most agencies spend three weeks on workshops and a strategy deck. I have already built the system; your build is configuration, content and design decisions against a template that has been tested. The timeline is real, and the two things that actually slow a build down are you sending content late and medical copy approval, which is why both are on the Day 1 checklist.

What if I do not like it.

You see it on Day 4 and you get two revision rounds. If after the first round you genuinely do not want it, you have paid 50% and you keep the design files, and we stop. I would rather refund half than argue you into a site you dislike.

Do I own it.

Yes — the code, the domain and the content. It is on your Vercel account or I move it to one. There is no licence and nothing stops working if you stop paying me. That is the difference between this and a Wix subscription.

I already have a site. Is this a rebuild.

Usually, yes. Run the scorecard first — if your current site loads fast, shows prices, takes bookings and has schema, you may not need me. If it fails four of six, patching it costs more than replacing it.

Are you in the US.

No. I am in India and I work US hours for calls. Everything is remote, which is also true of most US agencies at this price. If you need someone to walk into your practice, I am the wrong choice and I will say so on the call.

What happens after launch.

Nothing expires and nothing stops working. There is no monthly fee on either option, so after launch the site is simply yours. I am available hourly if you want changes later, and I will tell you honestly if I think you need ongoing help rather than selling you a retainer by default.

Why is the SEO one-time when everyone else charges monthly?

Because most of it is one-time work. The schema, the site structure, one page per treatment, the Business Profile categories and services — that gets built once and it stays built. The part that genuinely recurs is content and review generation, and a single-location practice with a good foundation can usually run on that foundation for a long time before it matters. Charging $500 a month for work that was finished in week one is common in this industry; it is not honest.

So I will never need to spend on SEO again?

I would not promise that. Your competitors keep publishing and Google keeps changing what it shows. What I can say is that the structural work is done and does not decay, so if you do invest again it is on content and reviews, not on rebuilding foundations you already paid for. I will tell you when I think that point has arrived.

Can it answer questions at night.

Yes — the online receptionist is included on All inclusive. It answers from your own content: hours, prices, parking, what a treatment involves, how long it takes, what the downtime is. When someone is ready it hands them to booking, and when it cannot answer it texts you rather than guessing.

Will the receptionist answer medical questions?

No, and you should not want it to. It will not tell anyone whether a treatment is right for them, what dose they need, whether something interacts with their medication, or whether a symptom after treatment is normal. It says it is an assistant, offers a consultation, and passes the question to you. A bot answering clinical questions on your site is your licence at risk, not mine — so it is built to refuse, and it refuses in a way that still books the appointment.

Does it store what people type?

No. Conversations are ephemeral and cleared when the window closes. It never asks for symptoms, conditions, medications or photographs, and nothing a visitor types is written to a database of mine. That is the same rule as the rest of the site: route and forget.

Will you take my competitor as a client.

Not in the same city. One practice per metro while you are a client.

What do you need from me.

Treatments and prices, hours, provider bios and credentials, your booking platform login or link, photos if you have them, and your Google Business Profile access. There is a checklist and it takes most people about an hour.

What if my booking software is not on your list.

Tell me on the call. The booking router deep-links, so anything with a public booking URL works. If you have no booking software at all, the consultation flow becomes your booking system, which is how about a quarter of practices start.

Two ways to start.

If you are ready

Fifteen minutes. I look at your site and your booking platform and tell you plainly whether this is worth doing.
